Dark Chocolate Brookies

Alizée of the blog Bartisserie is an insanely talented baker and cocktail maker. She had the idea of using our dark chocolate brownie mix to make Brookies... a mix between a brownie and a cookie! 

She used this recipe for cookie dough, but if you want to make it even easier, you could use our espresso chocolate chip cookie mix!

INGREDIENTS:

Dark Chocolate Brownie Mix + 2 large eggs and 10 Tbsp unsalted butter

You're favorite cookie dough, or Salted Espresso Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix + one large egg and one stick of butter

INSTRUCTIONS: 

1. Preheat oven to 325°F.  Grease an 8" square pan and set aside. 

2. Make cookie dough as instructed, either on the box or using your favorite recipe. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of your prepared pan. Keep some of the dough aside to sprinkle on top. Set aside. 

3. Make the dark chocolate brownie batter as instructed on the box. Spread the brownie batter evenly on top of the cookie dough. Drop your extra cookie dough on top. 

4. Bake for 25-30 minutes.  Do not over bake! Brownies may still be slightly fudgy in the middle- that's ok!
